Our Technology

Digital X-rays, including Panoramic X-Rays

Digital x-rays are quickly being adopted by a large percentage of the dental industry. A digital x-ray gives the dentist an amazingly detailed view of teeth and support structures. As a benefit to you, digital x-rays emit 90% less radiation than traditional radiography. The images are immediately available for viewing and can be electronically transmitted to insurance companies and dental specialists.

Intraoral Cameras

The intraoral camera is an amazing diagnostic tool for viewing different angles in the mouth. The small, pen-shaped camera gives us the ability to view the entire mouth and display the images on a monitor in order to get a closer look at existing or potential issues. In addition, you can see what the doctor sees firsthand. These digital images are excellent for gaining procedure acceptance from insurance companies.

DIAGNOdent

Our state-of-the-art DIAGNOdent detect dental caries, or cavities, at the earliest possible stage so that the most appropriate treatment can be implemented. DIAGNOdent uses a fluorescent laser that finds cavities between teeth and beneath the surface of teeth. These areas of decay often aren’t visible on x-rays or during a visual exam. This advanced technology enables the doctor to preserve more natural tooth structure by addressing decay before it creates significant damage.

Rotary Endodontics

Endodontics, more commonly known as root canal therapy, is a procedure where the roots or nerves of a tooth are removed to preserve an internally damaged tooth from extraction. The need for a root canal is often due to infection that causes pain and pressure. Rotary endodontics provides a way to perform a root canal utilizing a specific electrical handpiece that often makes the procedure faster and allows the dentist to perform root canal therapy with greater ease.
